SUMMARY:  Functions within the department as a consultant to employees and supervisors for services related to the role of the Human Resources Department within the organization under general supervision of the Human Resources Manager.  These services include a broad range of human resources activities such as recruiting, safety, benefits, labor relations, policies, etc.

Minimum qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with two (2) years of experience in general human resources and related program administration.  Five (5) years direct human resources experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Professional Certification (e.g., PHR). Human resources experience in a unionized environment including collective bargaining contract administration.
